philpapers

Post by olivier »

Hi,
Philpapers (https://philpapers.org) is the biggest online bibliography for philosophy, it would be very nice to be able to search it with BE. They've got APIs (https://philpapers.org/help/api/), but I don't know how to make a new filter from here: would anyone know whether a filter exists already or a simple way to do it ?
thanks,
Olivier

Have you tried Bookends Browser? I just did and Bookends offered to download many references found there (remember, if a reference has an identifiable DOI in the web page (even hidden from the users) Bookends can import it.

Thanks Jon, it works indeed but quite slowly here by comparison to filters.

Just wanted to add another vote for a Philpapers import filter.

If I am not mistaken, Phil-Papers now exports references in RIS and BibTeX as well, so no need for a special filter.
