Editing Command-Y

Command-Y (and K) are nice scripts that automate citations because "These actions automatically switch you to the linked application" (20). Is there any way I could paste my citations as links? That is, how can we taylor the Command-Y script? Of course, I could use Copy as Link (command-shift-L) but it doesn't switch between apps. The advantage is that in Scrivener I would have citations linked back to BE.

I'll have Copy As Hypertext Link behave like Copy Citation (switch to the linked app and try to paste).

Um, maybe you want to wait until the update is released?

Yes, let us know when... Will we have a choice to configure linkage to Command-Y? This would be my choice (two keys) over shift-command-L (three keys)

Everyone will know when 12.6.5 is released. And no, you can't configure the menu options.

Wow, now 12.6.5 allows shift-comm-L to shift to your app editor and paste reference hyperlink to cursor position. Nice job!

I wonder if we could have shift-comm-L do the switching to BE in place of Comm-Y, but that's a minor thing.

If there's a keyboard command for switching from and app to Bookends, it's implemented by that app. Bookends has nothing to do with it.
