Problems with new Applescript dictionary and selecting references

Post by kseggleton »

I have been using the new Applescript dictionary but have occasionally come across some unusual behaviour. Every so often I have a reference that is selected and yet when I return the id of that reference a completely different id is returned. In the example below I can confirm that there is only one reference selected in Bookends and yet a different id is returned when I use the new Applescript dictionary compared to using the old Applescript events. This happens for about 1 in 20 references - can't work it out.

Did you try Rebuilding the library?

I had verified the library and repaired it but not rebuilt it. Now that I have this has seemed to have solved the problem. Thanks
