"City" field missing in entering mode

Post by gke »

Just finished my first day of library work and BOT lived up to expectations - a powerful tool. One thing I missed, was the "City" field when you manually enter a new reference - in my field (history) the place of publication is crucial bibliographic information and now I can only add it when I edit references already inserted, which makes one have to change back and forth between entering and editing mode for each reference.

You should use the Address field for the city of publication. It will sync properly with Bookends.

Yes, indeed! I now recall that the fields are named differently in the different formats - btw. is it possible to change the default reference format? Book would suit my needs much better than Journal Article.

Field names bug is fixed and the new settings value 'Default Type' will be added in the next update.
