Request to Add WorldCat to Searchable Sites

Post by dave83 »

Is it possible to add WorldCat to the available Searchable Sites on BOT?

I realize this was mentioned in Nov 2011, but I have not seen update nor is it available on current release.

Dave

We've tried to contact WorldCat before with no luck, but will try again.

Serge,

Thanks. I greatly appreciate the responsive and supportive efforts you and Jon put into working with your customers. A welcome environment not found very often. Again Thank you.

Of course, you can access WorldCat via the web browser and easily collect the references that you find. But it would be better to have a direct search filter.

I agree. WorldCat is my go to search. Having it built in could speed up workflows. Right now I search via my web browser and then shoot it over to Bookends Browser to import. Things could get more speedy if WorldCat was built in.

Thanks!

No need to start with your regular browser. Start with Bookends Browser (WorldCat is already bookmarked, and you can make it your Home).

This forum is for discussing Bookends On Tap, btw, not Bookends.
