Importing Smart Groups

Post by jamiehatzis »

I feel like I am losing my mind. I see from the user guide that syncing smart groups is not supported between Mac and iOS however I can evidently import and or create a smart group at which point they will then sync. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to import an already existing smart group.

Out of curiosity however, what would happen if I create a smart group using the same criteria as on my Mac but on the iOS device? Will they then sync?

Smart groups are independent between platforms, so they aren't synced, and you can create groups with the same criteria on macOS and on iOS.
We have just one option of smart groups transferring from macOS to iOS and it works for Wi-Fi sync only.
"Sync all references or just selected groups" section in docs.
