Basic questions about attachments

Post by Newman Noggs »

Hi all,

I’m a long-time user of the Mac version, but only rather shallowly—rather like a filing cabinet.

The IOS version is mystifying me on one issue in particular: how to attach .pdfs.

I realize now that I can search from within BE and get the .pdf attached that way.

But very commonly I turn web pages into .pdfs and attach those to a BE reference. And that’s what I can’t quite figure out how to do. Compounding his problem is that I am also new to my IPad, and using .pdfs at all on that device.

To put it slightly differently, I’d like to attach .pdfs manually, if that makes sense.

thanks.

Update:

Using Instaweb, I can create .pdfs, which it then offers to send to BE through the Share feature.

This largely solves my problem, but I’m still curious about how or whether I can attach .pdfs without using the Share option.

Yes, data can be shared between apps via the Share Button.
In the same Share Menu in Safari you can Create PDF from the web page and then send it to Bookends.
