I deleted a pdf attachment which was not located in the 'attachments' folder. As a result, the link from the bibliography to the pdf is now obsolete and, as was expected, Bookends complaints that it cannot find the attachment.
I would like to delete that link so that Bookends does not complain anymore. If I do not delete the link, months or years from now I may erroneously believe that I've been hit by data loss!
Is there a way to do this? Right-click and "delete attachment" will not do because in this case there is no attachment to delete in the first place.
Thank you.

Re: Delete obsolete link to pdf attachment
Hi,
First, it's right-click to *Detach*, not delete attachment. That will remove the attachment name from the Bookends database, which is what you want.
There is also menu Refs -> Global Change -> Remove Orphaned Attachments, which will do this on a global scale for you (that is, if the attachment can't be located, remove it's name from the reference).
