drag and drop in the list view

Post by danzac »

Hi Jon, I was wondering if there was any plans to make drag and drop available in the list menu, so that entries can be placed into smart and/or static groups. I know you can control>click and then choose the group, but it is a bit of a pain, drag and drop would be so much quicker. Cheers!

Hi danzac,

Funny, I've just been thinking about that. You can't place them in smart groups, of course, because the criteria for belonging to a smart group either are or are not met by the reference.

But for static groups, this would be neat. I think I can do it now, but you would not get any visual feedback when the mouse was hovering over the group -- you'd have to drop it "on faith". Is that acceptable?
