import endnote pdfs

I am migrating from endnote X3 to bookends 11, have around 5400 references, and about 3500 of those references have pdf attachments. When I import into bookends using endnote XML, the attachments are not found when I look in bookends. How can I import both the references and their attachments from endnote to bookends? Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

Hi,

Assuming you are using EN XML to export/import, Bookends should pick up the pdf names. Then you need to either (1) set the Bookends default attachment folder to the EN attachment folder, or (2) move the pdfs from the EN attachment folder to the Bookends default attachment folder.
