Hello,
I have this possibility in my Format manger:
Kislev, Y., Lerman, Z., & Zusman, P. (1993)
I wish them to appear as:
Kislev and al.
I couldn't find this possibility in the format manager nor in the preferences.
How could I configure this?
TIA
Authors names
Re: Authors names
This depends on where you want this to appear.
In the citation itself: or in the bibliography:

Thanks for your detailed reply.
I think that I'll take the first possibilty, and check it.
In any place, I am keepinhg your explanations.

Re: Authors names
Unfortunately,
I ahven't succeeded. I did both proposals, but the outcome is three names instead of the first name and et al.

Re: Authors names
It seems you are working on the formatting for your bibliography (i.e. the settings in Bibliography Options are the relevant ones).
The reason why you still get three names instead of the first name + et al. is that you have set the required number of authors to > 6 (read: more than six). In your case you would only get an et al. in your output if you have a text with seven or more authors.
If you want to get an et al. for all references that have three or more authors, then you need to set it to > 2 (read: more than two).

Re: Authors names
I think that I have overcame the above difficulties, and now I am OK.
I have another concern to which I need your expertise:
The outcome of the authors names in the text itself are not equal in font and in size. I have done your previous advise you gave me in which I have done:Ref>Global changes>Restore....
The outcomes is different as it is shown in the three situations present in the screen picture attached.
My question: how cam I do that all outcomes of references will be presented at the same font and the same font size. Is it possible to configure BE for.

Re: Authors names
Hm, strange… maybe you have applied specific fonts and/or formatting in the format itself? That is, maybe you have applied a font, font size, etc. to what has been entered in the Formats manager? Somewhere here? You will have to check the different types, i.e. Journal article, Book etc. to see if there are differences.
At least that is the only possibility that I can think of…
