Scanning troubles with Word 2011

Post by proteus »

I am currently testing Word 2011/Bookends integration after having used the Mellel/Bookends combination for a long time. I have the AppleScripts loaded up fine and the transfer of citations to Word is also OK. However, at times Bookends will miss the temporary citation in curly brackets (standard, Author, Unique ID selected in Scan&Bib), both at the first scan and after an Unscan. I have of course kept the Hidden Info option check. Does anyone have Word 2011 with flawless Bookends integration and could possibly offer me tips?

Have you tried Word 2008? Is it possible the citation was inserted by EndNote, not Bookends? If you replace the citation is it still not found? This is a tech support issue, and you should follow up off-forum at support@sonnysoftware.com.
