2° title

what stands this for?
a) for a second/alternative title or
b) for subtitle?

It can be used either way. But it is intended for a short form of the title that is used for citations after the first time. This is often used in footnotes. The first citation may be to

Smith, 2000, History of the World

and thereafter referred to as

Smith, History...

(or whatever). "History..." would be entered in the 2° Title field.

then it would be good to have two fields I think:

1. sub-title (because it is not necessery to name it in each bibliography, but sometimes it would be better)

2. alternative title
