Whenever I try to "exclude the author from final citation" it omits all the elements except for the page number that I assign. I would like for all the information to appear, minus the author. Is there any way to do this? I am using a custom citation format based on Turabian.

When you do, tell us what word processor you're using and exactly what you entered in the temp citation.

I am using Mellel. I just figured out that this is only a problem with book entries. When I "exclude the author" on a journal entry it works fine. Anyway, here is what it looks like.

Re: Exclude authors from final citation
Okay, I have a new situation. I just noticed that on consecutive citations within my paper, "ibid" does not appear and I am left with just the page number. Again, this is only occurring with book entries. Within the formats manager, citation options I have marked that I want repeated citations to use ibid.
I can't figure out why this is only happening to my book entries. I have compared it with journal entries and everything looks the same.
