Abbreviate University > U and Press > P

I have a lot of citations with University Presses.

Is there a way to automatically abbreviate University to U and Press to P?

So in my database the publisher appears as Manchester University Press, but in the footnotes (say) Bookends makes this Manchester U P?

No, there is no such function. You'd have to either change the name to Manchester U P in the database (via a global search/replace), or move it to a user-defined field, change it there, and then use that in the format instead of the publisher field.
