Is there a quick way of selecting all the links in the linked references dialogue? Cmd-A doesn't work.
Failing that, is there another way of adding to the Hit List all the works cited in a specific reference? The Find function doesn't seem to let me do this.
Basically, I want to copy and paste (cmd-K) a list of all the works cited in a specific reference and the only way I can find to do this at the moment is to click the checkbox on each one to add it to the hit list, which is fairly tedious....
Many thanks
David

Re: Selecting all links in Links Inspector
Do you mean all the references cited in a paper you are writing? If so, after a scan they will all be in the hits list...

Re: Selecting all links in Links Inspector
Hi Jon, thanks for the quick reply...
No: I'm not writing a paper yet -- this is pure note-taking / research so there isn't anything to scan at the moment.
Basically, after I've studied a chapter I enter the cited works into Bookends as references and then link them to the main reference.
[Now, I'm new to the research game, so it may be that what I'm doing (entering the cited works into Bookends) is unnecessary -- and as it's a bit time consuming to do it, I'd be quite happy if somebody told me to stop now...

I want to print out the list of cited works to attach to the notes as a quick reference. This works for me nicely with cmd-K, once I've got all the relevant works into the hit-list, but I'm having to select each one manually in the link reference inspector to get them into the hit list in the first place. I was assuming that there'd be something like a search field to pick up works cited (or any other link type) against a reference, (or just a simple cmd-A in the links inspector would do) but I can't find it.

Re: Selecting all links in Links Inspector
Currently, that can't be done. But I'll add the ability to check/uncheck all items in the crosslink list in the next Bookends update. (You can do this in the reference list now several ways, the one I prefer being to click on a checkbox with the Shift key held down).

Thanks Jon
The way it works now in the reference list is fine, so adding it to the cross links box will be great.

Re: Selecting all links in Links Inspector
Just a quick post to say 'thanks' for adding this into Update 11.2.5 -- and for fixing the bug I reportedabout having to reset links in the link inspector.
I've just downloaded the new version and it works fine -- less than a week after both requests...
So, thank you for being so responsive!
