Organizations as authors/editors

Some of my references are collectively authored or edited by a society (e.g. American Mathematical Society or Robert Schumann Gesellschaft). Is there a way to override the "Doe, John" vs "John Doe" setting in the Formats Manager for a particular item in the database, so that the words comprising the name of the society preserve their order?
