I have done a couple of updates in recent days. I am now using Bookends 11.3.6 and Mac OSX 10.8.3 (after a big upgrade today), and now Bookends will not scan. Or more accurately, it will not recognise the citations in any word processor.
Mellel won't match any citation.
Pages won't match any citation.
Nisus will convert { to (, but that is all.
Now I am really getting scared. I need this to work. I am a long-term user of Bookends. This usually works OK.
What's going on?

Re: What's going on?
Thanks Jon.
For the readers of this forum, I reported the problem to Support. Jon was right on to it. I haven't solved the problem yet, but it is definitely outside of Bookends. At some point between Scrivener and the Mellel scan, all of the # symbols were stripped from my pasted citations.
Great support, Jon. Thank you.
