Question about the "date" format-field

Post by NewBookendsUser »

Hi,

as a new Bookends-user working in the field of classics, I would like to cite multiple volume works published over several years by (e.g.) Bernstein (1945-85) or (1999-2008). Could anybody tell me how to achieve this in my formats (or whether it is possible at all)?

Thanks in advance!

You can put those dates in the Date field. And in any format you use, do NOT check "use year-only for date". This will cause Bookends to use the range when a date is cited.
