Unwanted comma before et al.

Hi,

I don't know whether it has to do with the latest upgrade or I didn't realize it before, but I just discovered a comma between surname and et al. I don't like.

It is
N. Bookends, et al.

instead of
N. Bookends et al.

In my custom formats there is " et al." in the corresponding field, no comma at all.
