Importing Data Supplements

Post by Smithline »

I am running into an increasing number of articles that have dada supplements that I want to attach along with the article. I'm looking for an easy way to this. Currently I use the online search to create the entry in Bookends and import the article. I then have to save the data supplement to my computer and drag it over to bookends where I have to manually rename it to append the words "Data Supplement" to my current default naming style. It would be great if there was an easier way to do this - perhaps an option to import the data supplement at the same time I import the article.

Bookends Browser will let you attach any web page you're looking at. The direct import feature, though, doesn't know about data supplements, and since there is no standard way to link to them it's now obvious that it could.
