Slow text entry in notes pane

When typing in the notes pane, there is a very noticeable lag. Is this just me? Any ideas on how to get rid of the drag?

If you type slowly, maybe 30 wpm or slower, it probably wouldn't be noticeable. Faster than that, it's easily noticeable.

I don't see a problem here, and no one else has reported anything. Perhaps there is some third party software you're running that's having an effect. Please reboot in safe mode (Shift key held down) and see if that helps. Then reboot normally.
