Is it possible to create library from Word doc?

If a Word document has been populated with Bookend references, is it possible to create a new library from this document?

With Mellel, yes, Word, no. But if you have a bibliography at the end you can try File -> Import From Existing Bibliography (see user guide for how this works). If the references have DOIs you should have some success with this.

P.S. When you scan, the citations are put in the Bookends Hits List. You can export these to a Bookends file and import them into a fresh database.
