Word ShortCut to insert citation - weird behaviour

Post by kdv »

Dear List,

I added a shortcut (CTRL-SHIFT-I) to the insert citation script by renaming the script to Insert Citation\csI.scpt
When i use this shortcut the citation appears in the word document but the citation delimiters {} are absent.
When i click the menu item they are there.
Anyone any idea why that might be?

Pressing the Shift key when creating the temp citation tells Bookends to omit the enclosing curly brackets (this is so that you could, if you want, repeat the Copy Citation multiple times for refs in a single citation group and not have to trim the enclosing curly brackets for each one). So assign a shortcut without the Shift key.

Thanks - this now works as advertised using CTRL-CMD-I
