How can I stop the Notes field clobbering URLs

My notes usually contain links to internal locations within a PDF stored locally in the form of a URL (url-encoded file path + an internal page anchor).

I am not using the Bookends 'note-card' stream ('cards' are not selected in the drop-down menu).

When I paste my notes into the "Notes*" pane of Bookends, the URL initially works fine. Links are live. But as soon as I move away from that record and then return, the URL has been removed. The link seems still to be there but the window now contains just text (with a colored 'link'): no URL.

How can I stop Bookends' Notes pane clobbering my URLs?

I'll have to see this myself. Please contact tech support with an example I can reproduce here (i.e. the notes you're pasting in and a screen snap of what you're seeing).
