Automatic "Add the selected PDF annotation to Bookends"

Hi,
Is there a way to automatically make all my PDF annotations (i.e., from all PDFs of my collection) imported into Bookends, making them searchable without having to set anything notecard by notecard? It would be awesome as I rely immensely on my highlights to identify and sort my notes (with colors).

You can make them automatically visible in the note stream, but can't automatically have every note, comment, and highlight imported into the database itself every time a PDF is opened. That would be highly problematic (and potentially dangerous) for a variety of reasons.
