I prefer to use a library for each manuscripts.
Then, I usually use Dropbox to syncroinze manuscripts and libraries between two different computers.
I'm not sure about more efficient way, but if we can determine the linked PDF's folder location (attachments folder) on each libraries indipendently, it would more convinient for me to manage PDF by separating these related PDFs in a folder.
Dose any have same oppinion?

Attachments folder for each libraries
Re: Attachments folder for each libraries
You can set a specific attachment folder subfolder to be used by a library with File -> Set Default Attachment Subfolder

Re: Attachments folder for each libraries
In the present, "Attachment Subfolder" should be included in "Attachments folder".
I believe that if we set additional "Attachments folder" as relative directory to a library, it will be useful for my purpose.
This kind of way should suitable for data synchronization among several computers via network because now we need to copy PDFs from set folder of one computer to the folder of other computers.
But, I can understand that this kind of management of two folder is not easy to programing. I'm just hoping.

You know that the default attachment folder can be on a server, right? Then there's no need to copy PDFs from one computer to another.

If I have a server, I'd like to do that.
But I do not have these equipment (I hope to establish it in our lab).
Anyway, I'm using a light weight library to make a small report.
Usually, I use local data storage like a USB memory for bringing related data sets.
I believe that Bookends can be use for these flexible way.

You don't have to physically own a server (which is simply a hard drive available via the internet or a local network). All universities institutions have them, and there are many, many available from other sources (although I haven't tried it, users have told me they use iCloud).

Re: Attachments folder for each libraries
I hope to know a good open server.
Does anyone know the good place?
Usually there are volume limitation.
I'm afraid to fill up the volume. (at least in Dropbox, I think so)
I'm still in OS 10.9 then can not use icloud drive.
I'll consider to use icloud when I move to Yosemite.
