Hi,
I have several pdfs that are not displaying correctly in Bookends. The pdfs are displayed in only a small portion of the attachment window. Attached is an example where you can see that the pdf has been rendered in the bottom portion of the window. This happens with only a few pdfs.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Manav

Re: Problems with viewing PDFs
This is an issue with zoomed large PDFs and Yosemite. For these PDFs several options are
1. Change the view to Actual Size (uncheck Automatically Resize).
2. Open the PDF in your preferred PDF viewer to read.
3. Uncheck "Use annotation view for PDFs" in the Action popup menu (beneath the reference list).

Re: Problems with viewing PDFs
Thanks!
Concerning the three options:
1. "Actual Size" works as long as the pdf is not zoomed (as you correctly pointed out). As soon as I pinch-zoom into a page, it ends up with the same problem.
2. This is what I had been using so far.
3. Works well with "Fit Width" so that the pdf fills the width of the window. But this option does not allow use of pinch-zoom on my macbook.
I will likely stick with option 2 for now, but it would be nice to get this issue worked out. Not sure if this requires action at your end or that of Apple.
Thanks,
Manav

Re: Problems with viewing PDFs
Believe me, I've spent many hours on this. The problem is with the OS (EndNote has the same problem with the same PDFs, FWIW). If I ever find a workaround I'll implement it (hopefully it will be fixed by Apple at some point).

Jon,
I realize its only been a few months since thie post, but I wanted to check to see if there has been any progress. Furthermore, it appears Apple's release of El Captian did not fix this issue.

Right, it's still in El Capitan.
