problem with dropped files into Bookends

Post by davidrw »

Hi,
I selected a bunch of files from my downloads (all pdf files from JSTOR) and when I dropped them into Bookends, I was given two choices: attach to new refs and attach to selected refs. I chose selected refs, and the items now appear in my bibliography as paper clips but no data. How do I recover them and add them to my bibliography? (When I select items separately, they appear as .ris files and behave properly....)

I'm confused. If they're PDFs that are not .ris files. In any case, the PDFs were moved to the default attachment folder, which is where you can recover them. If you have questions about what to do after this, please follow up off-forum, sending me screen snaps of exactly what the problem is.
