MS word 2016 - When scanning a document, all styles are changed to "normal"

Post by Felipe »

Dear all,

When I scan a word 2016 ".docx" document in order to add all the references to the end of the document, all its text is changed to the style "normal". Everything I did dividing the document in more than 20 styles (title, subtitle, picture subtitles, body text, etc) is lost and everything is set to the "normal" style. Any ideas how to fix this?

Regards,
Felipe

I've never heard of anything like this unless you're having Bookends put the scanned document in a new window after the scan. In that case the new document may not know about your old document's styles.

Jon,

I am not having Bookends put the scanned document in a new window after the scan. If there is any kind of test that I can do to help identify the problem, just let me know.
