Strange Attachment Bug

I am experiencing a strange attachment bug with BE 12.5.4: When I attempt to attach a local PDF stored in my Downloads folder so that BE can then move it to my Attachments folder, the move takes place, but the PDF itself doesn't get attached. That is, I don't see the little paper clip icon next to the reference.

My library (database), and my default Attachments folder are both in Dropbox. I am using BE on an iMac running El Capitan, and the Dropbox Finder and Sync issues have been sorted out since I now see the green check mark indicating that client and cloud are in sync.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this Jon?

Does this happen with a fresh new database? If not, please Rebuild your current one.

I rebuilt using File -> Library Maintenance -> Rebuild. then used Get PDF -> find & Attach Local PDF, and it attached without a hitch.

I suspect the database got a little messed up when resolving Dropbox Finder Integration and Sync issues with El Capitan.

All good now.
