detach a webarchive

Post by isma »

Hi
I was wondering how to detach a .webarchive

For example, some papers are avalaible on pubmed with PMC central
I tried to attach one of these (eg http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article ... ort=reader). But then, when I tried to remove the attachment, I was unable to find the detach command. So I ended up deleting the file (using the display in finder command). Then I got the message that Bookends could'nt find the attachment and I was finally able to use the command detach.

Many thanks

Two ways.

1. Select Detach from the action menu popup menu (the gear below the reference list).

2, Use the Attachment Inspector -- select the webarchive and click the minus (delete) button.

I didn't see the gear below the webarchive and was surprised not to see the gear I usually use for the pdf

The "pdf gear" is just that, for pdfs (almost every command in it only makes sense for pdfs). It's not a general purpose control for attachments.
