Renaming attachments

Hello,

I have recently started a research project and am currently importing a considerable number of journal articles into Bookends, and would like to ask following question.

Would anyone happen to know if it is possible to change a setting somewhere (I looked everywhere, but could not find such an option) in order to get "and" rather than "&" offered as the default in the "Rename" field of the "Attach" dialogue window, when attaching a .pdf to a reference? It would save me quite a bit of time, and I'd therefore very much appreciate any pointers.

You don't have to use the Bookends defaults. You can define you're own format to rename attachments, and assign it in preferences.
