Copy Citation and Modifiers / German law journal in footnote

Post by vicomtedelacroix »

In German jurisprudence, it is common to cite a journal article within a footnote as follows: „surname, title, abbrev. journal year, first page (cited page)“. For example, an article could be cited as: „Meier, Verfassungsrecht, NJW 2014, 23 (28)“ (this article does not exist, actually). Now, I have some trouble managing this citation. I use the following code: „a, t, j d, p“. Using copy and modifiers, the first page will be replaced with the cited page. How may I keep the first page of an article, while at the same time citing a certain page, in the very same citation? For the moment, I simply type „first page (cited page)“ in the modifier-pop up as a workaround. Thanks!

In the format, Citation Options tab, there is an option in Cited Pages to "Allow reference page number when using Cited pages". Is that what you're after?
