Exploring sync with Bookends On Tap

Post by alephnull »

It may be that I have overlooked something again. I did my first Bookends sync between iMac und iPad via the Bookends On Tap. The initial sync "happened" but I have two questions:
1. Where are the smart groups themselves (I created a dozen on my Mac) in the Smart Group section? See screenshot:

2. How to force repeated sync? In the meantime I added a lot of references on the Mac but Bookends On Tap sync ignores it.

Thanks for your help in advance.

BOT smart groups are not compatible with Bookends smart groups (because of the underlying database engines, Bookends is a lot more capable). So the smart group on Bookends will become a static group in BOT.

As for force sync, choose sync in BOT. Please see the BOT user guide for more info.

My smart groups on Bookends do not become static groups in BOT.

Yes, the sync button in BOT is intuitiv, I tried it first but it doesn't work.
