Is Bookends capable of producing a bibliography entry with non-italicised text in a title which is otherwise italicised?
For example, in the title of a book which has the title of another book in its title, such as:
Joe, Don. Shakespeare's Hamlet and Its Editors. Podunk: Podunk Press, 1999.
with the title of Don Joe's monograph in italics, but 'Hamlet' non-italicised to show that it is a title.

Re: Title in Title
No, it can't. Actually it should, but there is a bug in the Mac OS X APIs that prevents this. The bug was reported but not fixed.

Every 4 or 5 years I have the same question, it seems
At least this time I've discovered my old post...
Am I right in assuming that this still hasn't been fixed?

Re: Title in Title
Actually, we use an entirely new text-formatting engine so that old bug no longer applies. But we haven't implemented italic toggling in titles.

Ii'll add this to the list of requests to take a look at for feasibility.

Re: Title in Title
This is possible in the next update. Bookends will toggle italics in a title. So if you have italicized Hamlet in the title, it will be output as plain text while the rest of the title is in italics.
