insert citation in pages after update (13.0.5)

Post by colin »

I may have missed something, though inserting a citation in pages is not working after the update to 13.0.5.

Pages comes to the front, though the citation is not pasted in with command+Y (I can copy the citation and paste it)

I have the same outcome on a MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (Touchbar).

Anyone able to advise?

I think that hasn't worked in a long time, Pages doesn't have an AppleEvent for Paste. You do the Command-V yourself. I can possibly get around Page's lack by using System Events. I'll take a look.

I may have misremembered, in still working through the transition from Sente.

Command-Y switches to Pages, then Command-V pastes the citation.

Right. In the next update the Command-V won't be necessary. Changes in Pages broke the previous method Bookends used.
