Unused Reference Type

Post by deut3221 »

Hello-

Is there a way to change the default fields in an unused reference type?

For example, the fields associated with my Unused Reference 1 are for a Journal. I would like the fields to be those of a Book.

Is there a way to change the fields? Or, can you only change the field labels?

thanks!!

Yes, go into the preferences and look at the references tab

Got it figured out.

Appears as if all Unused Reference Types use the field labels of a Journal. However, you can edit the field labels to match those of a Book. It requires a few changes, but works as advertised.

Thanks,

Formatted undefined reference Types are output in the format of the *first* Type, which by default is Journal Article. You can change that to Book or anything else, if you prefer.
