Attaching webarchive inconsistencies

Post by nh220 »

There appears to be some websites that break Bookend's ability to attach a source as a webarchive. I have an existing Internet reference to which I would like to add the webarchive. I have tried:

a) Clicking the paperclip icon in the browser preview windows -- nothing happens.

b) Clicking and selecting "Attach Webpage..." in Bookends Browser -- nothing happens.

c) Dragging the "Attachment proxy" icon from the Bookends Browser to the reference in the list -- nothing happens.

The "guilty" URL here is: http://thepoint.gm/africa/gambia/articl ... nic-groups. I tried a different URL (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201560) with the same reference and it worked fine.

It worked here for me, both by right-click and drag and drop. I don't know why you're having a problem, unless perhaps the web page hadn't loaded fully when you tried to attach it.

That's weird. Worked fine for me now. Not sure what went wrong earlier (spend a good 45 min on it) either but all's well that ends well. Thank you.
