Bookends and Mojave

Does anyone have any experience of using Bookends on the Mojave beta, and how was it?

I am somewhat concerned about the effects of the AEpocalypse for those of us who integrate BE using Apple Events:

I've upgraded to Mojave official release, and Bookends appears fine so far (no dark mode of course)...

I'm curious when the novelty will wear off though. Did the switch only a couple of days ago

Actually, enabling dark mode will take a lot more work than I thought, there is a lot of custom drawing code that needs to be rewritten. So yes, I intend to support it, but it will take some time.

PDFs with inverted colours (white text on black background) would be awesome with the dark mode (since striking-white pages of PDFs will break the... immersion anyway). And yes, I have heard it is not as easy as many would think.

Dark mode (white font) would be awesome, my default theme is dark mode since Mojave released. Hope, you'll find some time to get the hard job done! thanks
