URL links from within iOS?

Post by aroddick »

Is it possible to access the URL links/hyperlinks from within the ipad app? I'm trying to prepare all my notes from within the iOS environment, and would love to be able to grab the link, but it doesn't look like it is accessible.

Any update on when this might take place? Would love to see it happen as well.

For reference, here’s the workflow I created: Create an item in Bookends, export it using bibtex, run a shortcut that grabs the title and author, and then use those to create a new .md file in a designated devonthink folder, where I can then take notes on the reference. Having the link readily available would make the process seamless, as I could then simply link back to the Bookends reference. (Happy to share the shortcut if anyone wants it.

We will add cross linking support with DEVONthink in the next update of our app. DEVONthink will also add support of our links with their next update.

If there is another app you'd like Bookends to link to/from, post its name in this thread and we will contact its creator to see if they want to support this feature.
