[Feature Request] Attachment Panel Improvement

Post by vicboss »

I think the current attachment tab in the edit reference menu is really not useful. It takes too much horizontal space to display all the buttons and have repeated functionalities with the attachment menu in the bottom bar. I would really like a a new attachment tab that only display the thumbnails preview of each attachment (like on iOS), so I can easily see what attachments I have, and open/rearrange/delete them.

Sounds like you're describing the Attachment Inspector.

It's on the right of the window. The tab is inside the `edit reference` menu.

You miss my point -- the features you want are available in the Attachments Inspector (click the Inspector button at the top right of the window). There you can see small images of your PDFs, rearrange, and delete them.

Hmm, you are right. Still, the same functions are repeated twice in two different places, and the UI is not very suitable for the width of `edit reference` menu.

The edit pane on the right can be made as wide (or narrow) as you like. Just drag the left edge as you would in any Mac App with panes.
