I use Devonthink, Tinderbox, and Bookends to map concepts, store, reference, and discover knowledge for my PhD in Information Science. Though I've used Bookends for several months, I've just joined the forum, and anticipate several future posts as I rely more heavily on it.
Right now, my question has to do with Tinderbox. I OPT+CMD drag references from Bookends to maps in TBX and would like to know if there's anyway I might preserve/access an item link so that with some number of clicks, I can see a PDF of the file (I could reference PDFs from either Devonthink or Bookends, they're located in both currently).
The only solution I can think of currently is to create an extra attribute in Tinderbox that links to the file in Devonthink, but it seems a pity to have it linked properly in Bookends and not be able to leverage that metadata. Any tips?
Thanks,
Beck
