Hi, and apologies if this is a silly question.
Can I alter the format of citations in Word (e.g. from superscript numbers, to superscript numbers in square brackets), without rescanning the Word document?
I want to preserve any corrections/alterations in the bibliography, which may be reset if I rescan.
Many thanks!
Alter citation format in Word document without rescanning?
Re: Alter citation format in Word document without rescanning?
You can do it manually in Word.
But you really shouldn't be modifying the bibliography post-scanning if you can help it. Modify the data in Bookends instead. I realize there may be cases, however, where this is unavoidable.

Thank you Jon - I think I just realised that and you've confirmed it!
