Copy from one database to another
How do you copy selected references and attachments from one database to another? I'm sure it is so obvious but it is not fastening in my head....
Re: Copy from one database to another
The easiest way is drag and drop. But export/import works, too.

Doh! Grateful as ever for the very prompt guidance!
Re: Copy from one database to another
I have read the post about merging libraries and was wondering if it is possible to maintain the folders created in the source library when importing into the destination library. I tried to drag a filter and was not successful.
Thanks for you help.

You can't drag a folder or a group, just references. But here are two small tips you may not be aware of:
1. To move a group, create the same group in the destination library, then drag and drop the references in that group from the source and drop them on the group of the same name in the destination. They'll be added to the destination group.
2. You can move a smart group between libraries with copy/paste (right-click on the selected smart group in the source and copy, then right-click on the group pane in the destination and paste).
