Double clicking note in dark mode = blank note!

Post by nickharambee »

Hi,

It doesn't happen every time in dark mode, but it does happen more often than not. When I double click a note to edit it in the note stream I see a blank note, or rather I have white text (which is selectable) on a white background. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Nick

Please download 13.4.2 again and see if this still happens.

It's a black background now, so I can see the text clearly. Thanks!

I think I may have noticed another issue today. When using "Highlight Selection and Make Bookends Notecard" there is a leading space before the '>' symbol, meaning that the quote isn't recognised as such in the notecard. I need to delete the leading space to get it recognised.

Finally, a question - when double clicking a notecard the setting for note stream font-size isn't preserved. Should it be, as I would like it to be!?

No, it is the font size for editing references. But you can change that in preferences, too.

I'll take a look at the other issue.

Please download once more for the highlight quote fix.

Thanks Jon. Leading space is now not there!

I can't see an option to set the default font size for editing references in Preferences. Can you point me in the right direction please?

In the General tab, under Default Fonts.

Yes, that's where I was looking. I have tried changing all of the default font settings to a larger font, including 'References' and none of the settings change the font used when double clicking on a note to edit it, or when viewing the edit window which contains all of the notes for a given reference.

It works for me. Please contact tech support directly ands send screen snaps of your preferences setting for references and what you see in the UI.
