Removing periods at the end of titles on importing

Is it possible to tell Bookends to remove the periods at the end of titles when importing references?

Not really. You can tell Bookends to not import periods (or any particular character), but you can't limit that to titles.

You might be able to do this after import, thought. Use Global Change to

1. Add a Return (¬) after each title.
2. Find/Replace .¬ in the Title field with nothing (empty string)

You could try on a COPY of your library to test.
