Hi all,
I'm a long time user of Zotero, but have switched to Bookends for several reasons. There's so much to love, but I'm having a few issues. I'll limit this post to one.
I can't seem to get properly formatted citations when I "copy citation" in Bookends and paste into Scrivener or MS Word. The final result after "scanning document" gives me the following kind of result. An inline citation that should read "(American Psychiatric Association, 2019)." is rendered as "(Association, A. P., 2019).".
Can anyone help me understand how to change this?
Thanks so much for helping a Bookends beginner,
M
New to Bookends—issues with citation formatting
Re: New to Bookends—issues with citation formatting
You have to tell Bookends that the author has an "institutional name" and to not parse it. In the edit pane, Authors field, terminate the name with a comma:
American Psychiatric Association,
Jon
