I see the Summary view will show Finder tags after the file name (if they exist). I would like to build a format that accesses this list as well.
Does the Formats Manager offer any way to access the Finder tags? If not, please consider this option as a feature request.
Access to Finder tags in format manager?
Re: Access to Finder tags in format manager?
The formatting code deals with reference metadata, it doesn't know anything about attachments. I'll note the request, but I don't think it's likely we'd add it.

Re: Access to Finder tags in format manager?
Thanks.
FWIW, I am building a format to export a reference to markdown format. When I annotate on a PDF, I add the Finder tag "annotated" to it. I want to be able to track this tag in the markdown export.
I may try in the meantime to implement a reasonable workaround, perhaps through AppleScript to fill an otherwise blank user field with the Finder tags.

Before writing such a format you may want to contact tech support directly (support@sonnysoftware.com).
