Bug: Stuttering Affect to creating Default Subfolder

Post by DrJJWMac »

I am absolutely pleased with the new ability to create sub-folders to the main Attachments folder on iOS with WiFi sync. Nicely done!! This will be a tremendous benefit to my organization across an otherwise unmanageable number of different, on-going research themes.

I have one finding. When you use the Browse button to set the attachment sub-folder, you cannot directly use the NEW FOLDER icon to create the new folder. The iPad goes into a "stuttering" mode when you do. For the moment, the work-around is to create the desired sub-folder in advance by going directly through the Files app on iPadOS. After that, you can select the new sub-folder and Move all attachments into it (here again -- Bravo and nicely done!)

Yes, thanks for showing this workaround! I hope it will be fixed by Apple in future iPadOS releases. For example, it works as it should on iOS, but not, as you described, on iPadOS.
